Welcome to BABAO 2025!
The 26th Annual Conference of the British Association for Biological Anthropology and Osteoarchaeology will be hosted by the School of Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Leicester between the 18th and 20th of September.

 

The event will take place at the University's dedicated conference centre and hotel, College Court, and will also be available to attend virtually.

 

On the 19th and 20th we are providing the conventional two days of talks, but there will also be a programme of different themed workshops on the 18th that can be optionally attended. These workshops aim to address current themes, methods, and issues relevant to the discipline. Attendance at the conference and workshops is capped, so first-come-first-served!
