LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
We are delighted to announce that the BABAO 2025 Late-Breaking call for abstracts is now open!

This submission portal is for students undertaking their dissertation and those in the commercial sector, who were not able to have a talk title in place by the original abstract submission deadline. Please note, this is only for those in circumstances where it would have been difficult to provide a talk title as early as May and only a limited number of presentation slots will be available for these.

The deadline for abstract submission is 11.59pm on July 31st.
Abstracts are limited to 250 words and should follow the usual format (i.e. research aims/objectives, materials, methods, results, conclusions), although variations on this structure may apply. While we appreciate specific results may not be in place by May and do not need to be explicitly included in the abstract, we do require results to be in place by time of presentation.

If you have any questions regarding this submission process, please do not hestitate to contact BABAOconference2025@gmail.com

If you wish to be considered for this bursary, you must apply at the time of abstract submission by ticking the relevant box in the submission form. You must also submit a one-page document explaining why you are of low income (e.g. student, unemployed, contract osteoarchaeologist), why your research is novel and significant, and how presenting at the conference is important to advance your career.
